Mr. Frishman has 30 years of experience in the investment management field and has been a member of Teachers' investment team since 1994. In his current role, he leads a team of investment professionals that oversees Teachers' external active equity managers, develops and manages in-house global equity portfolios, and manages the overall exposures (e.g., style, size, currency) of the Public Equities department.

In total, Mr. Frishman's team is responsible for over $8 billion (CAD) in global equity exposure and also provides risk management and portfolio analytics to the entire Public Equities group. He is a member of the Public Equity Planning and the Public Equity Investment committees.

Previously, Mr. Frishman was an academic professional, teaching university-level courses in Finance and Investments, and is a regular conference speaker on a variety of investment management topics.

Mr. Frishman holds a B.A. in Economics and Statistics (Cum Laude), an M.Sc. in Economics, and has completed PhD comprehensive exams in Finance. He is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a member of that institute. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and the Toronto CFA Society.
