Pieter Nelissen

Financial Writer

Pieter is a financial writer for the Brandes Institute, a division of the firm that seeks to enhance knowledge of financial markets, raise awareness of issues related to portfolio management, and build understanding of investment processes. He is responsible for researching, writing, and editing Brandes Institute publications and seminar materials, as well as marketing communications materials. Previously, Pieter worked in the marketing communications department, as well as the private client services group, coordinating the creation of the firm’s marketing materials and maintaining client relationships. Pieter earned his BA in journalism at the University of Massachusetts. He has seven years of investment experience.
