Barry is the director of portfolio strategies, responsible for the firm’s Strategies Group. The Strategies Group includes the Brandes Fixed Income Group and the Brandes Institute, as well as the firm’s product development program. Prior to joining Brandes, Barry led a global investment consulting firm, and held senior positions with investment institutions in the United States and the United Kingdom. He is a graduate of Cambridge University, a fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA), and an associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). He is also a member of the Financial Analysts Society of San Diego. Barry has 34 years of investment experience, including equity and fixed income portfolio management, marketing, and business management.
