As a member of the portfolio strategies team, Irina is responsible for quantitative analysis of equity and fixed income portfolios, assisting with new product research, and quantitative research supporting various portfolio strategies groups. Previously she served as a performance technical analyst, where she focused on the technical aspects of performance calculation. Prior to joining Brandes, Irina worked as an accountant for a global investment banking firm based in Amsterdam, and in the central treasury of a global telecommunications firm in France. She earned her masters degree in electrical engineering from Odessa State Polytechnic University and has completed graduate studies in finance and banking. Irina is a member of the CFA Society of San Diego, and has seven years of investment experience.
