Bob is the manager of the Brandes Institute (the “Institute”), a division of the firm that seeks to enhance knowledge of financial markets, raise awareness of issues related to portfolio management, and build understanding of investment processes. Bob has responsibilities for overseeing project research and analysis, writing, and editing for Institute publications, presentations, and special events. He also contributes to the creation of marketing communications materials. Before joining Brandes, Bob was the head writer at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management. Previously, he was a stockbroker, an editor for a business newswire service, and a newspaper reporter. Bob graduated magna cum laude, earning his BA degree at Duquesne University. He earned an MA at California State University, San Marcos and has 20 years of investment experience.
