Oliver serves as president, chief executive officer, and a director of Brandes Investment Partners Canadian operation (BIPCo.) He contributes to strategic decisions, monitors the firm’s progress toward plan objectives, and is responsible for all of the firm’s Canadian functional areas. Prior to joining Brandes, Oliver was executive vice president & chief operating officer with one of Canada’s largest investment management firm. Oliver has served on the boards of a number of industry organizations and is currently the Chair of the board of directors of the Canadian Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC). He has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
