Equity Trustees Limited (ABN 46 004 031 298, AFSL 240975) (“Equity Trustees”) is the responsible entity for the Brandes Global Value Fund (ARSN 684 485 247) (the “Fund”). Equity Trustees is a subsidiary of EQT Holdings Limited (ABN 22 607 797 615), a publicly listed company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: EQT).
Brandes Investment Partners (Asia) Pte. Ltd. (ARBN 164 952 710) (“Brandes Asia”) is the investment manager of the Fund. Brandes Asia is exempt from the requirement to hold an Australian financial services licence under the Act in respect of financial services it provides to Australian wholesale clients.
The offer of units in the Fund is available to (i) “wholesale clients” as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (the “Act”), and (ii) other investors (including “retail clients” as defined in the Act) investing through an investment, super or wrap platform, an IDPS or IDPS-like scheme, or other trading platform. In New Zealand, any direct offer of the NZD class of the Fund is limited to “Wholesale Investors” within the meaning of Clause 3(2) of Schedule 1 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (“FMCA”). ‘Retail investors’ may access this Fund in certain circumstances.
