As a Portfolio Associate within our Product Management team, you’ll play a role in supporting sales, marketing, and client service teams by delivering meaningful content (and insights that drive decisions). This position provides the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives, bridge data analysis with content, and support multiple portfolios (and channels).

Location: San Diego, hybrid-eligible
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Compensation:  $75,000 to $90,000

Responsibilities

As a Portfolio Associate, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives across portfolios and channels. You’ll work closely with product specialists, sales teams, and client services to:

  • Analyze data from FactSet, Morningstar, Bloomberg, and other sources
  • Create and update product presentations, Q&A documents, and positioning scripts
  • Contribute to RFPs and strategic messaging
  • Conduct industry and competitor research
  • Maintain peer group reporting and product intelligence
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in investment product management, research, marketing, or strategy
  • Strong understanding of investment products and performance metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with FactSet, Bloomberg, or Morningstar preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CFA progress is a plus
  • While a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, candidates with strong applicable experience are encouraged to apply
