Brandes Global Value Fund Recognised by Lonsec Research

Australian Research Company, Lonsec, has awarded the Brandes Global Value Fund with a ‘Recommended’ rating.

24 September 2025 - Brandes Investment Partners (Asia) Pte Ltd ("Brandes Asia"), part of the Brandes group of companies that includes Brandes Investment Partners L.P. ("Brandes"), is delighted to announce that the Brandes Global Value Fund has received a Recommended rating from Lonsec Research and Ratings (“Lonsec”), Australia’s leading investment research and insights business. 

Launched on 31 July 2025, the Brandes Global Value fund offers Australian institutional and wholesale investors access to Brandes’ 50+ years of experience navigating various global market conditions through its value investing approach. 

The fund models the investment philosophy of Brandes’ Global Equity strategy which has a track record going back to 1977 and invests in a diverse mix of global equity securities spanning multiple regions and sectors. The fund is grounded in Brandes’ independent, research-driven process of identifying undervalued companies through rigorous fundamental analysis. 

Lonsec’s Recommended rating reflects its strong conviction that the fund can meet its investment objectives. In its report, Lonsec states, “The fund has been assigned a Recommended rating, reflecting Brandes’ tried and tested value investment approach and extended track record of success. The four portfolio managers are well-experienced and have long tenures.”
