Brandes Investment Partners Wins the Celent Model Asset Manager for Operations and Risk Award 
and the Gramercy Institute Financial Marketing Strategy Award


Firm recognized for successful overhaul of marketing content management process

SAN DIEGO, May 2, 2018 - Brandes Investment Partners (Brandes) today announced that the firm won both the Celent Model Asset Manager Award for Operations and Risk and the Gramercy Institute Financial Marketing Strategy Award. Both awards recognized Brandes for developing a successful automated process to consistently update the firm’s marketing content with the latest quarterly and monthly data. The initiative achieved its goal of providing timely and useful information through a more efficient process as well as improving compliance by delivering the latest, most accurate data.

“We’re light years ahead in terms of time, accuracy and cost,” said Deon Schaffer, Software Engineering Manager at Brandes. “This automation overhaul enabled our marketing team to take over content updates. Rather than having developers make each change, we implemented a more fluid and automated process where the collateral can be automatically updated with oversight by the marketing team.”

The Celent Model Asset Manager Awards recognize best practices of technology usage in different areas critical to success in asset management. The Operations and Risk category identifies initiatives aimed at improving internal efficiency and risk management, including process automation, portfolio and risk data analytics, and cybersecurity. Brandes was presented with the award at Celent’s Insight & Innovation Day on April 24, 2018.

The Gramercy Institute awards recognize companies that have demonstrated the power of strategy in financial marketing, and Brandes was honored at the annual Gramercy Financial Marketing Strategy Awards ceremony on April 11, 2018.
