Templeton was one of the first of the great 20th century investors to “go global” in search of investment opportunity (yes, even before Charles Brandes!). When Charles founded our firm 50 years ago, the goal from the outset was to use value disciplines to find the best stock opportunities worldwide. While the world has changed over the last half-century, that goal remains constant.
